DAILY REAL BLOG - How To Know What The Right Thing To Do Is by Life Writer Life Speaker Life Coach Narah Valenska Smith

I know from personal experience that doing the right thing is often not easy. In fact, my life altered in late 2008 / early 2009 due to my doing what I knew to the depths of my soul was the right thing while everyone around me either questioned it or completely disagreed. Nine years later, I still know it was the right thing to do and, more than ever, that I will never ever regret it. So, how did I know? One word: intuition.

Intuition is the ability to understand and know something immediately from instinctive feeling, without the need for conscious reasoning. It is deep, spiritual insight and foresight as a result of immediate spiritual communication. Intuition comes from being connected to your heart. Other than faith (trust, belief), love and hope, it is the greatest thing in the whole wide world.

There is a certain peace of mind that comes as a result of connecting to your heart long enough to be able to hear it actually speak to you. In the worst of circumstances, you can stop and connect to this voice and feel not only this peace but downright strength inside.

There is a simply a certain rightness and sense of justice you feel that you can hardly explain when you join hands with this true self inside of you. As accusations fly against you, you look right through them and past them and come out the other side 100% soulfully unscathed. You know you are “right” within your soul and your own self and that no one can change your mind, much less your heart or course of action.

While you may not know where your decision or path will take you exactly, you just know that this ONE step, this ONE decision, this ONE thing is the right one and that you will then know what to do next when you come to it. In other words, you know you will be capable of crossing that bridge when you come to it and you are fearless because of it. This knowing – this intuition – this connection equips you to withstand whatever difficulty comes along because you know what you’re doing is just the right thing to do.

In the end, the bottom line is this: life is ultimately a journey of faith and a matter of trust and your very best bet is to allow your intuition to guide you in it. Allow that voice that doesn’t always even use words to tell you what the right thing to do is, my friend. To me, that voice is the voice of God and, again, from personal experience, I can tell you exactly what I wrote in my book, The Unfurling of Narah Valenska*, some years back which continues to stand the test of all time and space:

the voice of God cannot and will not EVER lead you wrong and you must trust and honor it with all your heart.

All my love to you always,

P.S. The Unfurling of Narah Valenska has not been fully published yet due to 3 things: legal issues, moral issues, and timing issues (as, it’s simply not yet the right time). Intuition (the voice of God) says “Just hold on… all in due time” so I am doing just that. I trust fully that, when it comes out, it’ll be everything I already know in my heart it was always meant to be and more. 🙏 Stay tuned! 😉
