How to stay there and not get distracted
- remembering self-control, self-discipline, consistency are the key!
- ask yourself is it worth it to waste your time and your life?
- realize it is costing you!
Things to check
- Social media
- Cell phones – texts, calls
Things to do that will help you
- Schedule
- Use DND
- Put kids on Favorites
- Close windows, no notifications
THE BIG ONE – YOUR THOUGHTS (MINDSET)
Check your own thoughts – stuck on them by self-criticism, others, stuck in the past with old stories, holding grudges, chips on shoulders from things that . . . steals time, focus but the very energy you need to stay on task.
STOP IT!
Energy will flow to where attention is.
Put energy & thoughts on the right thing – on what you want! and not on everything that comes your way or happens around you, et cetera
To accomplish things, to stay focused
- Must be like a laser
- Decide that’s not what you want
- The secret to change is to really be focused on the new thing & remove the blocks
- How to handle kids or co-workers… not going to do that right now. Set boundaries.
When not on task / focused, you…
- overthink
- procrastinate
- judging
- gossip
- energy in wrong vibration
- Self-fulfilling prophecies
- Like a dog chasing its own tail wondering why when you’re the one in control
The other side – burnout
- Must be balanced
- Tasks that serve you
- Rest, restore
